Wii U Gamepad Screen Not Working

Reset the wii u gamepad by performing the following.

Wii u gamepad screen not working. It will start and when i sync the wii system and the gamepad the screen and the gamepad will show the symbols but when i try to input it on the gamepad nothing happens.
